Does Mass Effect Legendary Edition run on Windows 11, Mac, Linux and Steam Deck?

Windows 11 Expected to work. It is sold for Windows today and no problem is on record. Source
Windows 10 Yes. The store lists it in the system requirements. Source
Linux Through Proton: ProtonDB rates it Gold (runs perfectly after tweaks). Source
Steam Deck Playable, as rated by Valve: it works, but may need some manual configuration. Source

Minimum operating system on the store page: 64-bit Windows 10. What these mean.

Synopsis

This collection bundles the three Mass Effect space-opera role-playing games in one remastered package. You command Commander Shepard, recruiting a crew, exploring planets, and making dialogue choices in a fight to stop a galactic threat. Decisions carry over from one game to the next.

What people say

Critics welcome the improved visuals, shorter loading times, and the inclusion of nearly all downloadable content, along with the strong story and characters. The first game remains the weak spot, with dated combat, a clumsy inventory, and stiff animation. Other complaints include limited PC graphics options, the removal of the third game's multiplayer, and a missing expansion. Overall the package is seen as a worthwhile way to revisit or start the trilogy.
