Synopsis
A roguelike platformer where a lone explorer descends through randomly built caves, jungles and temples in search of treasure. Every run starts from the beginning, and players learn the traps, creatures and hidden secrets one death at a time.
What people say
Critics praised it as a tightly made, endlessly replayable roguelike whose deaths feel fair and teach something each time, and the daily challenge mode drew extra praise. Their main warning was the steep difficulty and its reliance on reflexes. Players still rate it highly for responsive controls and runs that stay fresh, though some call the randomness unfair at times and say the opening hours can scare off newcomers.
Playability today
Playability runs from 1 to 5. It is the average of two parts. Each part starts at 1 and climbs to 5 as more of its checks pass. Read the method.

- ✓Controls feel natural on a modern controller or mouse and keyboardPlayers describe the movement as smooth and responsive, and the game has full controller support. Source: steamcommunity.com, pcgamingwiki.com.
- ✓Menus, text and interface are clear on today's screensThe interface is a small row of counters for health, bombs, ropes and money, and no readability complaints turned up, though evidence on this point is thin. Source: steamcommunity.com.
- ✗Saving is fair: free saves or frequent checkpoints, little lost progressThere are no saves within a run, so one death sends the player back to the start, with only limited shortcuts to later areas. Source: steamcommunity.com, opencritic.com.
- ✓It teaches itself: no guide needed to make progressA tutorial cave covers the basics and the main route is learned through play, though the deepest secrets are obscure enough that many players look them up. Source: steamcommunity.com.
- ✓Pacing holds up: little grind, filler or forced backtrackingRuns are short and randomly built, and players say the game stays fresh with no grind or unlocks to chase. Source: steamcommunity.com.
- ✗Camera and movement never fight the playerThe close view lets traps and enemies strike from off screen, a complaint that comes up repeatedly in player reviews. Source: steamcommunity.com.
