Synopsis
A first-person shooter in which time moves only when you move, turning each short level into a slow-motion puzzle of dodging bullets, grabbing weapons and taking out red crystal enemies. A strange framing story about a hacked computer program ties the levels together, and extra challenge and endless modes open after the campaign.
What people say
Critics in 2016 praised the clever time mechanic, the tense, film-like firefights and the stark white-and-red look, along with quick restarts that keep you trying again. The main criticism was that style can outweigh substance: the campaign is short, the ideas are not developed much further, and the story struck some as tedious and intrusive. Players today still find it simple, smooth and addictive and say it runs well on Steam Deck, though many consider it too short for its full price and some report controller problems or launch issues.
Playability today
Playability runs from 1 to 5. It is the average of two parts. Each part starts at 1 and climbs to 5 as more of its checks pass. Read the method.
