Synopsis
The sixteenth Nancy Drew adventure sends Nancy undercover to a lodge in the Canadian Rockies, where a string of accidents has been blamed on a white wolf. Between first-person point-and-click sleuthing and logic puzzles, she works shifts as cook and maid, rides a snowmobile, ice fishes and questions the guests.

Reception
Critics gave it mixed to positive reviews, crediting its well-woven puzzles and cozy setting while finding parts too easy for veterans and the story thin, and it holds a PC Metascore of 73. Fans also singled out the fixed cooking and cleaning duties as busywork. Recent Steam reviews are mostly warm about the lodge atmosphere and puzzles, but many players dread the Fox and Geese board game and complain about long waits for story events to trigger. Several Steam threads report the game failing to start on current Windows versions.

Design today
3/5- Controls feel natural on a modern controller or mouse and keyboardIt is played entirely with the mouse: click to move between fixed views, talk and pick up items, with no controller support needed or offered. Source: gameboomers.com, pcgamingwiki.com.
- Menus, text or interface are hard to read on today's screensSubtitles are smaller than in earlier entries and their size cannot be changed, and players report the fixed old resolution looking wrong on modern screens, with windowed mode leaving only a tiny window. Source: gameboomers.com, steamcommunity.com, steamcommunity.com.
- Saving is fair: free saves or frequent checkpoints, little lost progressSaves are unlimited and can be made at any time from the on-screen panel, and a failed arcade sequence simply resets so it can be tried again. Source: gameboomers.com.
- Hard to make progress without a guideJunior mode adds a task checklist and phone hints, but progress often depends on time-of-day triggers that players say need repeating or waiting out, and many reach for a walkthrough near the end. Source: gameboomers.com, nancydrew.fandom.com, steamcommunity.com.
- Pacing drags: grind, filler or forced backtrackingDaily cooking and cleaning shifts at set hours repeat throughout the game; the series wiki notes that reviews criticized how rigid these duties are, and recent players call them tedious. Source: nancydrew.fandom.com, gameboomers.com, steamcommunity.com.
- Camera and movement never fight the playerMovement is the series' usual click-to-step first-person view with no free camera, so there is nothing to wrestle with outside the short snowmobile and snowball arcade scenes. Source: gameboomers.com.
