Synopsis
The second game in the rebooted Tomb Raider series, following Lara Croft to Siberia in search of a lost city that may hold the secret to immortality. You climb, explore semi-open hubs, solve optional puzzle tombs, craft gear from gathered resources and fight a paramilitary order with stealth or guns.
What people say
Critics praised its striking environments, larger hub areas and especially its optional challenge tombs, calling it an improvement on the 2013 reboot. Common complaints were a forgettable story, combat that pushes players toward shooting over stealth, and a flood of collectibles that can feel like busywork. Players still regard it as a polished, good-looking adventure, often the favorite of the reboot trilogy, though some find Lara's constant hints undercut the puzzles.
